We here at Image-Industry are proud to announce, or unveil, our latest creation. The official, always changing Image-Industry BLOG. It’s also our way of using our .net website. As my marketing director puts it … “We are now HD”. Kind of a cool way to look at it. We plan on posting regularly so please stay tuned. Now for something fun. I was at a seminar where my pro labs (Pictage) CEO was the guest speaker. I was interested in what he had to say simply because I am his client along with 7,999 other photographers across the U.S. When the show was over … simply put … I was inspired. The big thing I took home from that meeting was … What I do affects people. It stirs a memory, creates a smile, generates an emotion … something! And then I was asked to SHOOT for ME! One shot a day everyday for an entire year. I am going to call it Scott 365 for obvious reasons. There is a website where a bunch of photographers do this and post their photos and comment. It is www.tasramar.com. So today I was out on two locations. One was photographing my good friend Patsy Beatty’s art for her new website. The other was shooting some Corporate Head shots at the newly remodeled and now open, El Chorro Lodge (a must see by the way, STUNNING!) Between these shoots I had a fun stop at my step-daughter’s school for lunch. It was here I actually turned the camera on myself and shot this self portrait. First one since 1998. How is that for crazy?
